Stop valve:

Stop valve is a kind of common cut-off valve valves, is mainly used to connect or truncation pipeline medium, general need not to adjust the flow rate, stop valve to adapt to the pressure and temperature range is very big,stop valve is generally used in small diameter pipe.

Stop valve is only applicable to fully open and fully closed, and the throttle is not allowed to make adjustments in the process of opening and closing, due to the small friction valve and valve sealing surface, and thus abrasion.

Advantages of the stop valve:
1. The structure is simple, make maintenance more convenient.
2. The working stroke is small, opening and closing time is short.
3. Good sealing performance, friction between the sealing force is small, long life.

The disadvantage of the stop valve:
1. The flow resistance is big,the larger force required to open and closed.
2. Not suitable for larger particles, viscosity, easy to coking of the medium.
3. Poor regulation performance.
